The light-load Tearing Tester measures the tear strength of a “single” specimen of a material with low tear strength, such as plastic film. Suitable for materials with low tearing strength that cannot be handled by the Elmendorf type tearing tester. Simply set the pendulum in the starting position, start the machine, and it automatically measures the swing angle and calculates the “Tear Strength”. When the measurement range is selected, the weight to be attached to the pendulum is indicated.
